Brian Olah - Founder and President

Brian is the founder and President of STI, Strategic Thinking Industries, a consulting firm with expertise in healthcare information technology.  Brian draws on 20 years of information technology and consulting experience to lead STI in helping hospitals and healthcare facilities achieve in areas where other consulting firms fail and where vendors can not deliver.

In 2000, after publishing the definitive book on Cognos’ reporting and business intelligence tool Impromptu called Impromptu Startup, he founded STI as a consulting and Labor and Delivery reporting software company. In the early years of STI, entrenched STI as the single firm to provide reporting, integration and automation to the specialty of Labor and Delivery.

After building a set of tools and services to meet any data need in the specialty of Labor and Delivery, Mr. Olah leveraged this experience to provide servies to other areas of the hospital with integration needs to such industry vendors as McKesson, MEDITech, Siemens, Cerner, Philips Medical Systems and GE Healthcare.

Mr. Olah has grown STI from a single principle that data is more than just information but the lifeblood of healthcare today.
